The Te Awamutu Community Food Forest promotes sustainability through fruit tree planting and garden development on public land. Tiger Building, represented by Lawrence Boucher and Diane Cunningham, provided hands-on support for planting areas at Pekerau Reserve.
Volunteers from across the community planted lavender, fruit trees, and vegetable patches to encourage food security and environmental stewardship. The project engages schools and children to foster long-term community involvement and self-reliance.
