After the Te Awamutu Menz Shed was burglarized, losing tools valued at $3,800, Tiger Building Waikato stepped in to help. Led by Lawrence Boucher and Diane Cunningham, the team donated materials, including wooden boards, to secure the premises and prevent further break-ins.
This contribution was part of a larger community effort involving local businesses like Mitre 10 Mega and Fresh Choice. Their support helped the Menz Shed resume operations, with plans to enhance security through steel bars and surveillance systems.
